I B U ... not UBI

Hola!
Where did I leave off ...? Ah yeah, so the hostel was quite ok, on sunday we left for Katsuura. It took us five hours to get there by train, as we arrived and looked around we had seen everything there is in Katsuura; yes, it is very small. We took a cab to the I(nternational) B(udo) U(niversity) facilities (710 Yen) and got the keys to - of course - a tatami room. But since the rent is only 6000 Yen for a week I'm quite satisfied. We then were told that there will probably be no training because two students have the swine flu. But the Senseis did not care. There was training. And it was amazing: the Keio students still in mind we bowed and entered, joining the warm-up...it was embarassing how loud we where, with Keio ichi ni's we started, with IBU san shi's we ended. Comparing the two is like comparing an elephant and a mouse hitting the ground after they've been dropped at 1000 meters height. After the suburi are done you can hear a common "plock, pack" as they just let their shinais sink to the ground, not caring anymore. Then some kirikaeshi and practices, jigeiko and over. In the afternoon there was of course a match, we had to watch again ... ouch my back! Ijimasensei, Marubashisensei, Makitasensei, they all greeted us very friendly (well mostly Luca) and told us that tomorrow there'll be no practice ... -_- but since the Dojo was open we of course trained with a korean guy and two guys from chile. They were actually really nice and invited us to a party tuesday evening. We went to th beach, found some crabs and dead fish, little yellow things that could sting, and just relaxed. Then we went to the party. It was .... nice and crazy ... yeah .... xD
Today we went training again, it started out good but I didn't get to do jigeiko with anyone....that sucked. But Makitasensei invited us to dinner afterwards, which was cool. Now, after one hour of pingpong we're waiting to go train in Kamagawa. :)
Again no pictures....hopefully next week!
